Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

Attached is instructions for how to sign up for the team we’re walking with! Feel free to invite friends and family to join the walk, as well.

Bake Sale #2!

We will be having our Second Bake sale this Thursday, September 22nd at the fishbowl from 11:00 am-3:00 P.M. Please stop by and send your friends to buy from us! Let Carolina or another officer know if you can bake something for us to sell. Our first bake sale was a huge success– let’s make this one even better!

This is just an update to let everybody know that our bake sale time is currently set for 12pm-3:00pm.  Hope everybody has a great Labor Day weekend and don’t forget to stop by to get some sweets in the Fish Bowl.

Mr. Engineering

Hello SWEeties,

The pageant is currently scheduled for October 7^th. All engineering male students are encouraged to apply and have the chance to win the title “Mr. Engineer 2011”. The pageant will consist of four categories which include: Interview, Talent, Professional Attire, and “Nerdy Wear (students are allowed to have fun with engineering stereotypes).  Right now, we are in the process of recruiting contestants and the application deadline is currently set for September 16^th. Tickets for this event will soon go on sale for $2.00. We are depending on all members to spread the word and encourage as many USF students and faculty members to purchase tickets and attend this event to support SWE.

1st General Meeting!

We will have our first general meeting on Thursday, Sept 1st in ENC 3006 @ 4:00pm since the Success Center is not available. Please be careful not to miss the location, hope to see everybody there!!

We will have a bake sale to raise funds for the conference.

Can you please let Hayde know if you can donate any baked goods for the bake sale?

Hello SWEeties!!

Welcome, Welcome, Welcome to a new year!! I hope everybody had a great summer. It’s the beginning of a new year and I hope everybody is adjusting well.  Wanted to take the time to congratulate and welcome all new officers, and members.  We have our 1st general meeting next Thursday Sept 1st @ 4:00pm.  We hope to see everybody there, don’t forget to invite your friends!!!
